I recently visited Spam & Egg in Lil Tokyo and let me tell you, it was a 10/10 experience! The salt salmon dish was absolutely delicious and the horchata was the perfect match to accompany my meal. This has quickly become one of my favorite grab & go spots in the area. Not to mention, they have a fun selection of plantains that I can't get enough of. I highly recommend checking out Spam & Egg for a tasty and convenient dining option in Lil Tokyo.

I recently stopped by this charming little restaurant and I have to say, I was blown away by the delicious food! The Spam & Egg "Onigiri" was a solid 9/10, with the Tuna Mayo Onigiri not far behind at 9.75/10. I also tried the Negi Toro Handroll, which I would rate an 8/10. Despite the constant stream of customers, the service was incredibly quick and efficient. And let me tell you, the prices are unbeatable for the quality and flavor of the food. As someone who is quite picky about onigiri, I was thrilled to find that these were seasoned perfectly. If I had to nitpick, I would say that I wished there was a bit more furikake for my personal taste. Overall, this no-frills spot is all about good food and I can't wait to go back for more!

I can't believe I haven't reviewed this place sooner! It's such a hidden gem in the same plaza as Kinokuniya. The onigiri (rice balls) here are my absolute favorite - the salmon yuzo and tuna mayo are must-tries. The sashimi is decent too. And the best part? The prices are so reasonable - $4 for a rice ball is a steal! I did try a handroll as well, but I found that the rice balls were the standout. They are packed with lots of love and make for a perfect snack before or after shopping around Little Tokyo. And the fact that they sell unique plants on the side is just an added bonus. Oh, and did I mention they have a restroom? Parking validation is also provided after purchase. This place has quickly become one of my go-to spots for a quick and delicious bite. Highly recommend checking it out!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting this charming restaurant with a lovely ambiance, complete with cute bonsai plants scattered around. The Onigiri was the star of the show for me, especially with the variety of add-ins available. I opted for the beef sukiyaki, chicken teriyaki, and spicy tuna Onigiri, and I was not disappointed. Each one came with a generous portion of meat and the flavors were delightful. Plus, the prices were reasonable, making it a perfect spot for a satisfying snack or meal. I can't wait to go back and try more of their flavorful rice balls. This place has definitely won me over!

If you're wandering around Little Tokyo and looking for a quick bite to eat, Rice & Nori is the place to go! The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, with a nice selection of seating options and even a little plant shelf for added charm. The menu is focused on onigiri, but they also offer hand rolls and other delicious sides like edamame and miso soup. I really appreciated the variety of fillings available for the onigiri - it's not just your typical tuna and salmon here! The employees were super friendly and my food came out quickly, which is always a plus when you're hungry. The rice had a great texture - each grain was distinct and not too soft. The fillings were generous and the furikake on the outside added a nice crunch and flavor. Just a heads up - parking in Little Tokyo can be a bit tricky, so be prepared to find street parking or use a nearby lot and walk a little bit. Overall, I had a great experience at Rice & Nori and would definitely recommend it for a tasty and satisfying snack!
